Dr. Karen Chrobak is a sports-focused chiropractor with 13 years of clinical practice and over 20 years of experience helping athletes—and active individuals—reach their peak performance.
A graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College who completed a Clinical Sciences Residency, she is also a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Practitioner through McMaster University. Dr. Karen combines a hands-on approach and active care with advanced manual techniques, acupuncture, and evidence-based rehabilitation to optimize recovery, prevent re-injury, and enhance performance. Renowned for her diagnostic expertise, she excels at identifying and managing complex conditions that often get overlooked.
Currently, Dr. Chrobak serves as Chief Medical Officer for Rugby Ontario, teaches Emergency Sports First Responder courses through the Canadian Red Cross, and is a certified WSIB practitioner—she also accepts MVA patients through HCAI. Sasha is a graduate from the Massage Therapy program at Medix College in Toronto. Prior to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, she worked as a Certified Athletic Therapist for seven years where she gained an in-depth knowledge of the body and injury rehabilitation.
Sasha was involved in a variety of sports growing up including ringette, hockey, soccer, field hockey and snowboarding. Throughout university, she continued her athletic pursuits by playing competitive ringette and soccer, while also competing for the varsity field hockey team at York University.
After completing her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University, she then pursued a two year advanced standing certificate program in Athletic Therapy. Since then, she has worked extensively with high performance athletes in a variety of sports including basketball, field hockey, ice hockey, track & field and rugby at both the collegiate and provincial levels.
